Now the important part comes into play, always check whether the account is in the name of the person who is providing the check, because in some cases, the check might be stolen and the signature can turn out to be fraud. Even after the clearing of check, the real owner of the account can stop the payment or after its clearing, the bank can declare the transaction as fraud.
